Hotel Castillo Resort San Gil

Pasé con mi familia unos días en este hotel y la experiencia fue grata. La habitación muy linda y limpia. Solo que al hacer limpieza al cuarto el olor de los productos que usaban era muy fuerte, tocaba dejar abierta la puerta del balcón para poder respirar. Además, tienen una cláusula en la que el cliente debe pagar un monto extra por cada sábana que se ensucie, cosa que me pareció excesiva y mas cuando se viaja con niños pequeños.

My family was there really good time. But something very ridiculous happen. By mistake I sent $60.000 (pesos colombianos) around $20 dólares to their account. When I noted my mistake, I call the hotel and after many calls finally spoked with the manager. She told me that they need to discount 11% And also I had been waiting for don’t know who to authorize the devolution. Is it about the amount of money, my concern is about “ why people honestly fail and just for $20 dólares . Incredible and crazy. “”Almost 3 month to return something that is not yours”””

This place is magnificent! Just minutes away from kayaking ,bungee, jumping, paragliding, atving. The hotel has excellent balcony view of the river. They also have a zipline course you can do. They have a little castle for your kids to play in. A delicious restaurant. The pool is so beautiful it has one side for adults and the other side for kids to play with with slides included. Josue at the book encounter was so polite and professional. Jessenia was our waitress at the restaurant and she was so nice. If you have a family and want to have a great time in San Gil I definitely recommend this hotel.10 out of 10.

Nice hotel, confortable and big rooms. Very close to "El Puente" Mall. Convenient location to explore sangil and its surroundings.

Un hotel con variedad de ambientes, apto para adultos y niños, las habitaciones son limpias, cómodas y bonitas. Falta mantenimiento en algunas zonas. Pero la experiencia es muy agradable, excelente animador para las noches de música. La comida muy buena.

The rooster needs to go. He starts crowing at 3 am non stop. I’m writing this review at 5 am cause that rooster wakes me up every morning. Other than that we had a great stay. The staff is friendly and the service is good. The food at restaurant is tasty. My room has a great view and spacious. We love all the animals, they are so cute. As for the hotel itself it’s really fun for kids. Lots of activities but it’s a little run down. The hotel definitely needs maintenance. I would stay here again. It’s not easy to find a hotel in San Gil with hot water and ac so that’s definitely a plus.

I got a great room looking over rio Fonce and San Gil. They take care of the place and the animals they give a good home here. They still under contruction. The room was plenty and they clean the room daily so you get clean towels too. Front desk service girl was dry and nothing like the rest of the people in San Gil.

This place was easy to book, rooms were clean and the customer service was good. This is a family hotel, I recommend bringing your kids over they will have a lot of fun.
